DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars!\n\n\n\nThe First Church in Jaffrey's 108th Fair is on Wednesday\, August 6\, from1 to 4. Admission is free\, parking is ample\, and places to sit\, eat\, and chat are scattered around the Meetinghouse\, the Common and First Church buildings. Gourmet bag lunches are available at 12:30 in the Parish House. A snack bar by the Meetinghouse sells hot dogs\, sodas\, chips\, popcorn\, and more. Live performances in the Music Tent throughout the afternoon.\n\n\n\nThe Fair features something for everyone! Venues include antiques and\n\ncollectibles\, fine art   painting\, prints\, and photographs\, "white elephants\,"\n\nvintage and craft jewelry\, decorative linens\, and the garden center. A Bakery\n\nBuffet tempts buyers with cakes\, pies\, cookies\, breads\, and dessert sauces.\n\nAt the Children's Fair in the Horsesheds\, kids can play games to win prizes\,\n\ndecorate cupcakes\, and find low-cost items to buy. The popular ride around in a\n\nModel T returns. Tickets for games and rides remain 25 cents.\n\n\n\nThis event depends on more than 100 volunteers to set up\, sort\, sell\, park cars\,\n\nand clean up. While First Church's members and friends plan and organize the\n\nFair\, two-thirds of the workers come from the wider community. Many local\n\nbusinesses and service groups contribute time\, equipment\, and money.
