But there&rsquo\;s more to Tom than his musical prowess. His fascinating journey includes signaling plays as a &ldquo\;lowly hand signaler&rdquo\; on his college football team\, quarterbacking the Bologna Warriors in a year of semi-pro football in Italy (an experience he later turned into a movie)\, and honing comedic talents at Second City and improv schools in Chicago\, L.A.\, and New York. One sketch&mdash\;hilariously portraying the ghost of Telly Savalas in a lounge act&mdash\;evolved into an off-Broadway show that ran for several years. Eventually\, Tom returned to his first love: music\, settling in Maine with his partner\, Lauren\, and sharing his extraordinary gifts with audiences far and wide.
