Heart of the Arts Gala Art Auction

The Jaffrey Civic Center is thrilled to announce that it will be hosting its third annual Heart of the Arts Gala Art Auction on Saturday, April 27, at 6:30 pm. This semiformal ticketed event is a wonderful opportunity for people to get dressed up and enjoy a night out while supporting local arts and culture. Artists from the region generously contributed 76 pieces to the auction. Artists receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their art, with the rest going to support the Civic Center. The highlight of the evening will be the live auction, during which a select portion of the works of art will be auctioned off by artist and auctioneer Harold French, who is joining us for a second year. In addition to the juried live auction, there will also be a virtual silent auction, which will open at least a week prior to the big event. This year, we are fortunate to have Evelien Bachrach as our juror. Foray Event Catering will be returning with a collection of delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and guests will enjoy wine, tasty treats, and conversation while browsing the artwork and deciding which pieces they will bid on.
